Garden Design
The goals in the design are to make it a joyful space for the clients along with being a sustainable waterwise design that is friendly to wildlife.
The garden design and plant materials selected are inspired by the client’s:
Garden goals, needs, and size
Preferred garden style (i.e. modern, Mediterranean, French provincial, minimalist)
Flower and leaf color preferences
Materials on hand (plants, trees, rocks, driftwood, water feature, paths, artful items)
Views and areas to add privacy
Level of interest in caring for the plant material upon completion
Patio Gardens
Designs include artful pot groupings with an variety of plants shapes, driftwood, rocks, colorful glass and other artful objects around sitting or dining areas, along with complimentary plantings in available flower beds to create a beautiful, inspiring area to relax and chat with friends and family.
Backyard Designs
The design can span the possibilities of making new living areas by adding curvy paths leading to different functional areas of the garden (lounge, dining, reading, veggie growing, play areas, etc.) surrounded by lush waterwise plantings and artful items to creating a large communal area with multiple functions and thoughtful plant placement to bring color, texture, and interest into the space.
Front Yard Designs
The design would add pizzazz and enhance your house style and could include elements such as a sitting area and water feature with plantings that make you want to linger and enjoy this area of your home.
Planted Pot Arrangements
A single planted pot arrangement can contain add a cheerful focal point to any area using an array of fun plant colors and textures with a unique mulch topping to highlight the plants and add an artful item such as a chunk of ocean blue glass for sparkle.
Planting Services
Small Projects: No project is too small. Full service planting is offered. Plants to be used must be in 5 gallon or less containers.
Large Projects: Work with the client, their contractor or gardener and direct the location and installation of plants, and placement of materials. I would assist in planting 1 gallon or smaller plants, create artful touches, and complete any planted pot arrangements.
Concierge Services
For those that are too busy or overwhelmed by all the choices, I provide shopping services to procure plants and materials desired by the client. I seek out the best prices for quality plants and materials and if the items can fit in my car, I transport them to your home. All business discounts are passed directly on to the client.
Consulting Services
Onsite Consultation and Sharing: Do-it-yourself clients appreciate just a consultation to discover plant materials that match their desired garden style or just want to explore ideas that could enhance the garden to meet their goals and needs. Referrals to nurseries to find the types of plants desired and places to buy materials are shared.
Onsite Plant Care Instruction: Do-it-yourself clients seek out assistance on how to care for their new plants. Side-by-side gardening is the best way to learn how to care for new plants.
